Documentation issues

I’m on https://docs.textpattern.com in Safari on MacOS and finding a couple of issues I wanted to document:

- The search in the page (not the search in the nav) is not giving me any results.
- On the Themes page at section 1.4.2, the linked Forms gives a 404.

A known issue with Safari, unfortunately.

On the Themes page at section 1.4.2, the linked Forms gives a 404.

Doh, fixed. I’m not sure how often it rebuilds the live site, but give it a little while and it should update. In the meantime, just axe the .md from the link and it’ll work.

Thanks for the reports.

EDIT: Helps if I commit it to the correct branch. Not sure if that branch has an automatic rebuild pipeline. Might have to verify this with Pete in the morning if it hasn’t automatically deployed.

Re: Documentation issues

Yes, that’s frustrating. With Safari I have a pinned tab, set to the taglist page of the docs as a first port of call. And then I use the keyword search safari extension, and have three keyword searches setup:

Textpattern Docs:

Keyword: txpdocs
Expansion: https://www.google.com/search?q=@@@&as_sitesearch=docs.textpattern.com

Textpattern Forum:

keyword: txpforum
Expansion: https://www.google.com/search?q=@@@&as_sitesearch=forum.textpattern.com

Textpattern Tags:

keyword: txptag
Expansion: https://docs.textpattern.com/tags/@@@

You use them by simply typing txpdocs search-term in the browser bar (analog for the other keywords). Once you’ve set up your searches you can remove the symbol from the symbol bar if you want to save some space.

phiw and uli have similar solutions.
