Github – comments under a commit fails to load
As a logged-in user I cannot, atm, view comments under a commit, such as for example, this: github.com/textpattern/textpattern/commit/b8b04cba6b2036c917168b555c3ae25a89d4584c#commitcomment-148924154
The textarea below those equally does not appear.
Both Firefox and Safari show a kind of loading indicator screenshot – a greyed out blinking set of lines. And then nothing happens (the URL given above links to a comment, but the browser doesn’t scroll to it).
Where is that emoji for a solar powered submarine when you need it ?

Using Mac/Safari 18 it appears to work for me, though I also see the grey loading bars you mentioned – there’s a considerably longer than expected delay before the textarea appears, but it does appear.
Aside: over the last 5 days, I’ve had multiple occasions where I’ve been apparently logged out from GitHub (i.e. browser switches to light mode and offers a sign in option), and on subsequent navigation I am logged back in (i.e. browsers returns to my preferred dark mode and shows me signed in).

GitHub has definitely been having issues recently. I’ve had the thing Pete mentions with it either soft logging me out or actually doing so and forcing me to re-authenticate via 2FA, even if I check Remember Me.

So basically some gremlins … well we’ll wait till their magic solves the issue.
While I haven’t seen the soft logout issue, I see a few strange relayout shuffle-ing the page around while loading (esp on the various widgets at top left) and general slowness.
