[SOLVED] Updated database via godaddy bumped textpattern access

I’ll bet this happens all the time –

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Undefined constant "MYSQLI_CLIENT_FOUND_ROWS" in
 ... /doesbooks/textpattern/lib/txplib_db.php:169 Stack trace: #0
 ... /doesbooks/textpattern/lib/txplib_db.php(288): DB->__construct() #1
 ... /doesbooks/textpattern/index.php(63): include('/home/oag95itg3...') #2 {main} thrown in
 ... /doesbooks/textpattern/lib/txplib_db.php on line 169

I was politely prompted to move up to 8.3 I believe. I’m looking for the Undo but maybe there’s a way through TXP?
Thank you, guys!

Not sure about all the time, but there are a couple of existing threads on the forum where people have encountered it. Maybe they provide some pointers. It seems in some cases the host needed to correct something on their side.

A self-effacing joke “all the time.” I feel silly when I break things – I come so often with my tail between my legs.

I wonder if updating the TXP version might help since the new Textpattern will recognize 8.3
I had only just begun but would hate to loose access to posts permanently.

If you back up your database and ftp content of your site first updating is safe as you can always revert.

Re: [SOLVED] Updated database via godaddy bumped textpattern access

I went to upgrade everything in the hopes of bringing the site back – it was back anyway ?

I jumped the gun and caught the website and server in some kind of transition that lasted at least 12 hours. Now, over a week later, all the functionality is 100% performing as expected. GoDaddy has done some clever job of keep TXP up to date too so even the upgrade would have just been a reinstall.

Thanks for taking the time to have a look and take it seriously. Always appreciate you guys!
