Re: rc2 and 1.0

Indeed, it’s great to hear from you again, Dean. I was expecting all along that you’re up to your neck in work but still: a brief note that all’s well and running keeps my expectation up!

Can’t wait to see 1.0 appear!

Re: rc2 and 1.0

Unless I’m looking in the wrong place, it doesn’t look like there have been any checkins since mid-november: revisons

Anyone know if I’m looking in the wrong place and if we’re still on for that magical date of 1/10? I’m wodering if I should hold off on a new install I need to do if there’s going to be a bunch of changes before the 1.0 release.

Looking forward to 2005: year of the text!

Re: rc2 and 1.0

You are correct, there have been no commits in a while. I’m guessing that either Dean has another svn he uses, or he became side tracked.

Re: rc2 and 1.0

Doesn’t look like we’re likely to see 1.0 Today.

Damn. (But is anyone genuinely suprised)

Yeah. Especially since it’s only 5 or 6AM in France right now. It should have been up hours ago.

Re: rc2 and 1.0

And so it begins.

Can we complete the irony and have complaints about the lack of 1.0 release appear in the fake thread in the Announcements Forum whose subject line claims 1.0 is out?

I think that’s all that’s left to hope for on the web, that the ironies be as perverse as possible.

Re: rc2 and 1.0

Is there some app that’ll download something at a time I tell it to?
See, I have trouble being in two places at once… And I figured that Dean should have already uploaded it by around noon my time.
I’m using windows, by the way. Heck, if that doesn’t work, gimme a Mandrake 10.1 app, I don’t care!
