Textpattern Demo Site

I hope this is the proper thread to ask about the Textpattern demo site.

My preview shows that a block quote will be rendered with a line down the left hand side. But the actual page renders as a centred quote. why?

The preview widget does not use the same stylesheet at all. If you want to check how your article on the public side, use the link (“View”) under Save button. The preview widget is only good to check the article after parsing Textile (Text mode) or the HTML code (HTML mode).

Thanks. I was not aware of that until now. Does it use some other hidden stylesheet?

In pre-4.9 it shares the admin side stylesheets. Which also means that if you put, say,

<style>* {color:red!important}</style>

inside the body and preview it, the whole admin page text will turn red. In 4.9 it is getting fixed.
