Animated menu...

I’d like to add an animated menu to my text pattern blog — over the last decade there has been over 1000 articles written and I would like to organize it a bit better —

Is there anything for Textpattern out of the box — or should I just build it myself like this?

Example

Textpattern tags will allow you to build the menu (HTML structure) itself (based on sections / categories ?). Up to you to apply some layer of paint (CSS).

Colin, your example works with on-mouse-over which may not be compatible with touch devices.
