Image Thumbnail Issue

I’ve upgraded the textpattern from 4.8 to 4.8.8 and currently working on windows xampp 8.1.12.
When I upload the image, the option of create thumbnail is not appearing and not making the thumbnail.
Currently the URLs in textpattern -> preferences -> admin are:
images: images
File directory path: C:\xampp8\htdocs\txpnew\files
Temporary directory path: C:\xampp8\htdocs\txpnew\txpnew\tmp
I also changed the url at textpattern/config.php to $txpcfg['txpath'] = 'C:\xampp8\htdocs\txpnew\textpattern';

Note: I tried each URLs with and without C:\xampp8\htdocs\txpnew\txpnew\ as well, but couldn’t work. Maybe the issue is with xampp version, URLs or anything else with upgrading.

I installed xampp 7.4 and now it works fine !

Anyone please help me to resolve the issue and works with php8 as well ?

Hello, yes, thumbnail creation works with php8. Isn’t your diagnostic complaining about GD extension?

It was the issue of GD extension, I enabled through php.ini and now works fine.
