textpattern.com console warning about permission policy header
- visit textpattern.com or the Textpattern forum in a Chromium browser
- the console warns about unrecognised features in the
permission policy header.
Once upon a time, those 4 features were valid.
Error with Permissions-Policy header: Unrecognized feature: 'notifications'.
Error with Permissions-Policy header: Unrecognized feature: 'push'.
Error with Permissions-Policy header: Unrecognized feature: 'speaker'.
Error with Permissions-Policy header: Unrecognized feature: 'vibrate'.PS – Chromium browsers are the only ones recognising this permission policy header.
PPS – It is a minor issue and only a warning.

‘speaker’ has now been renamed ‘speaker-selection’, the others were discarded in the spec (which still isn’t finalised). I’ll check our server config and adjust as necessary – thanks.
FYI I try to maintain a current list of the feature/permissions policies here, although I haven’t been keeping up on web dev news for last couple of months or so, so it may be out of date again.

I’ve just created this commit which should fix any current issues with our Permissions-Policy rules. Just need Pete to deploy it in due course and the warnings should be done. Thanks!
