PLEASE REMOVE | Two textpattern installations using one image folder
Earlier this year I posted about updating an MLP site. Once again thanks for the assistance.
I have finally finished redoing the design and images, and am ready now to work on the separate languages (English and Japanese).
There are lots of posts about multiple languages on a single installation, but Julian introduced me to this old post (2016-2017) of two installations using a single image folder.
I have tried, but fear that I don’t have the programming background to understand the thread…
Would it be possible to create a plugin that makes it possible for a “slave” site to access images on the “master” site,
- that works with smd_thumbnail,
- and which accesses Japanese language captions for images stored in the “master” installation with jcr_image_custom?
If the answers are ‘yes’, are you able to create such a plugin?
