Re: How to get exact search results?

Oh, that makes it even more interesting. The words currently in the list don’t cause issues for most situations, I’d imagine.
Unless you are searching for things like, “Victoria and Albert Museum”. Although it would still find “Victoria” and “Albert Museum”, even without the “and”, right?
Yes, “Victoria” and ”Albert Museum” should return some valid and relevant results, I would think.
But a question. That MySQL word list referenced above by Oleg is English specific. It is not clear if similar lists are included for other languages in the core MySQL code. Additionally, how does this work for multi-lingual sites ?

Re: How to get exact search results?
What a pity.
Incidentally, on the demo site I get the “Search results : 1 article found matching your search request” message, but no article link in the search results…
I checked the admin and the search_display
form does include an article tag: <txp:article class="article-list" wraptag="ul" />
.
I created a test article and did another search, but still got empty search results.
Is this a known issue in 4.8.8?
• Old Photos of Japan – Japan in the 1850s~1960s (100% txp)
• MeijiShowa – Stock photos of Japan in the 1850s~1960s (100% txp)
• JapaneseStreets.com – Japanese street fashion (mostly txp)

Unfortunately,
MATCH ... AGAINST
does not seem to work on 4.8.8 demo server at all (whatever mode). Please test somewhere else.

Thanks for the feedback.
Good point about other languages!

Please look at a source of the page for <a> link with your URL and an empty text, though.
