Nginx 1.19.9 is compiling now, it should be live within 30 minutes.

PHP 8.0.5RC1 just landed, Nginx 1.19.10 is expected later today.

You get bonus points if you spotted there has been a delay in new PHP versions arriving on the demo server.
PHP releases have been deferred for 14 days (or more) following a server compromise in March. For more info, please refer to this bulletin: www.php.net/archive/2021.php#2021-03-30-1
We’re already at PHP 8.0.5RC1, with the most recent production release of PHP 8 being 8.0.3…so PHP 8.0.4 might not ever be a thing…maybe. I’m not sure. Expect things to hopefully settle a bit in the coming weeks.
On the Nginx web server side of things, we’re approaching the end of the 1.19 release branch. One feature I was paying particular attention to is the arrival of HTTP/3, which is looking more likely for the 1.20 branch instead.
(I’m sure there’s scope for an ASMR podcast with all this nerdy info, someone must appreciate it.)

Nginx 1.19.10 is compiling now, should be live in 30 mins or less. The ‘stable’ Nginx release (1.20) worked just fine, so we’re back to ‘mainline’ (1.19). PHP 7.3.28, PHP 7.4.18 & PHP 8.0.5 are also live.

PHP 8.1.0 alpha 1 has landed. So far, Textpattern v4.8.8 development branch appears to partially work, at least with the auto-installer doing its thing (note: the auto-installer uses PHP 8.0 currently). Have a look, if you like:

You will need credentials from:
PHP 8.0.7 and PHP 7.4.20 also arrived in the last week or so, but I was remiss in telling you. Now you know.
