Making The Forum Even Better | upvoting posts?

  • It’s a waste of admin time to answer the same questions from newbies (like me) again and again.
  • Most of the answers users need are probably in here somewhere
  • But they’re hard to find

Is there any kind of mechanism for up-voting forum posts that are particularly useful, to make them more visible to subsequent visitors?

Re: Making The Forum Even Better | upvoting posts?

There isn’t such a feature at the mo.

We were about to embark upon an initiative to collate hot topics and repeated questions to curate those into the official docs so we can just point people at those examples. So if you do find great examples lurking in the forum on your travels, please grab them and bring them to our attention.

If you have a GitHub account, raising an issue on the docs repo would be ideal, with a link back to the forum topic or individual post that houses the example. We can then track it more easily, lift it and fold it into the docs as we go.
