Re: Humour

&Walsh (Jessica Walsh) have put out some fun emojis, many with a coronavirus theme. Plenty of good ones to drop casually into your chats. See them all on dropbox.

Re: Humour

I was looking for these since the #BLM movement started. In light of all that is happening they are still so relevant. With Rowan Atkinson and Smith and Jones on YT.

A dangerous virus popped up in my Spotify recommendations when I was least expecting it 😳.

Full details of its wide-ranging effects here: Badtimes 😏 (full listening sample on YT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uqZZ72UbOgA)

Ha ha. But it’s already out of date: the ‘moved from Jekyll → Hugo people’ have already moved on to 11ty via Statamic. Tomorrow they’ll all be using whatever isn’t 11ty and not hosted on Netlify, and saying Jamstack is the devil’s work.

I was looking at the Eleventy Website which had a quote from this guy saying “Jekyll is dead to me” which linked to his Twitter account – his pinned tweet links to this blog post which includes this paragraph:

All of this combined puts me in a different Jamstack world than I was in before with the Eleventy version of Piccalilli. I’ll still always favour Eleventy for most website stuff—heck I wrote a whole course on it—but when things get a bit complex, I’ll happily use Next JS as an alternative, ongoing. It’s nice to have solid choices.

So apparently Next JS is the momentary favorite.

Re: Humour

I’m still laughing about the “Welcome to NGINX!” point on the graph, which could just as well have been “My First Blog Post”. I’m assuming that’s the correlation, anyway; the auto first post that never goes any further.
