RSS Oddity

I’ve noticed that the title of the first article in my rss feed does not reflect the actual latest article title. So, this is the latest article.

The title in the latest entry in RSS should read “Le Marche, The Marches”. Instead, it seems to draw from the first related article at the bottom of the page, “Cartoceto: Le Marche Sublime”.

The body of the article in rss is the right one.

Any ideas on why this could be happening?

james

Re: RSS Oddity

Does the section In Presentation > Sections have syndication enabled?

After checking the rss link in your latest article’s page, I noticed that it leads to /blog/rss/?section=article but the article seems to belong in the blog section, which appears not to have syndication enabled.

Re: RSS Oddity

There isn’t a “blog” section, just news, default, article and about sections.

It’s the url that confuses me /blog/article/1206/le-marche-borderlands. The first part is normally the section. Are you sure that you did not make it sticky?

Textpattern is in the blog subdirectory, not the root.

Re: RSS Oddity

This should be fixed in 4.8.5 now. Everyone willing to test, put <txp:related_articles /> tag inside some article’s body (with empty excerpt). In 4.8.4 RSS feed the corresponding article can have a wrong title, as described in the OP. In 4.8.5 the feed should be ok.

Thanks!
