txp mentions
OK this comes from a hosting company so we should take it with a pinch of salt but here you go:)
WordPress is great – we love it. But just as variety is the spice of life, so too must we have variety in our software choices. Textpattern is a popular WordPress alternative. One shouldn’t go whole hog, changing their entire history of blog posts from one application to another on a whim. Instead, try out some different options, see how the other half lives, consider Textpattern, try it, and see. Then decide.

[Txp] is a breath of fresh air compared to something like WordPress.

Re: txp mentions
The extremely lightweight design of the TextPattern CMS makes it much faster and responsive than WordPress. You can also customize the admin user interface with custom designs to personalize the CMS to your preference as well.
TextPattern is also developer-friendly. Web designers and coders can build themes and blogs using the CMS to make their own creations with less effort. Thanks to its library of plugins, adding more functions is also quite easy.

Re: txp mentions
I’m sure if someone just sent them an email about it, they would gladly correct the orthotypographical spelling of the name. The more that’s let go, the more you might as well change the spelling on the Txp website to ‘TextPattern’, at which point I’m pretty sure Dean would roll in his grave.

Aye. We should probably be more proactive about this. You volunteering in this case? :)

Hello.
Under your CMS category you have ‘TextPattern’. Please note the ‘p’ in the brand name is not capitalized.
Thanks in advance for correcting all instances of the misspelling.
The Textpattern editorial style guidelines will be available at the following address after the New Year if you have need for confirmation…

Re: txp mentions
The fact that iOS, at least, gives you a camel-case spelling option to correct the accurate name doesn’t help. Stupid dictionary.
