I’m using version 4.8.4 of Textpattern, and unfortunately plugins like smd_textile_bar are not working as they should. Although, in some previous versions of txp I remember using it successfully.
Have you reported it to Stef (Bloke)?

No. I downloaded it from his website. The latest version seems to work fine;)

Out of interest, can you show us how you’re embedding MarkItUp in Textpattern? Is that one of kuopassa’s plugins?

I just created a plugin to load the necessary files in the write tab. I made some small changes to the CSS and that’s it.
Here is /textile/set.js with some forms included, if you are interested in seeing it.
Edit: Sometimes I use write_tab_customize, if it is installed.

Yay cool. As you’ve found, my website usually houses the latest released versions, which don’t include upcoming fixes. So if you find something doesn’t work in a released version, my GitHub repo is the place to go to access the latest PHP.
