Article URLs on textpattern.com no longer use the article ID

Effective today, article URLs and some single-article pages no longer use the numerical article ID. I’ve taken steps to rewrite the old URLs to tidier ones, so the process should be seamless.

For example, system requirements (ID: 119) used textpattern.com/about/119/system-requirements as its URL, but now it uses textpattern.com/about/system-requirements – the first link will redirect to the second link.

There are still a few things to tidy up, but we’re no longer advertising the article ID in our .com articles.

I did an unscientific test by clicking links from Wikipedia. Everything worked.
