Re: bot_write_tab_customize: rearrange and style items in the write tab

Hi Jakob,

I upgraded bwt_customize to 0.7.5 with a txp 4.6.2 website.

I’m a issue :

If I choose to hide some custom field by sections or add some custom class with bwt_customize, when I save a article, after Txp Ajax routine, all custom fields are show (réinjected in DOM, without plugins modifications).

I modified the plugin for re-launching bwt scripts on “txpAsyncForm.success” event. Now plugin work for me.

If you confirm this bug, I can propose a pull request of my modifications.

Bye

You’re welcome to suggest improvements, Thomas. Really this is redbot’s plugin. I just desperately needed a version that functioned with v4.6 and put it in case it’s of use to others. I hadn’t had problems with this version except for some minor changes necessary for v.4.7-dev but maybe that was because I have mostly been updating sites.

Re: bot_write_tab_customize: rearrange and style items in the write tab

This amazing plugin has served me very well, up to (and including) Textpattern version 4.8.0. Since the update from 4.8.0 to 4.8.3, a problem occurs when saving or publishing an article: when the plugin (8.0) is active and you publish/save an article, the spinning icon next to the “publish” button keeps spinning and the button stays greyed out, not capable anymore of accepting new input. You have to reload the page in orde to publish again.

No problem with basic bot_wtc setup on 4.8.4 for me (up to deprecated magic quotes warning), must come from somewhere else.

Re: bot_write_tab_customize: rearrange and style items in the write tab

I just installed 4.8.4 on a development site: the problem with the save button when bot_wtc is active disappears! Version 4.8.3 on another dev site: problem persists. Seems like there is a problem with 4.8.3, and 4.8.4 solves it. Fingers crossed for a nearby release date of 4.8.4 later this month/year.

Sorry, but it (bot_wtc 8.0) works on 4.8.3 too for me.

Could it be that you have in the preferences “Allow form override” off? (My experience)

Oh yes, that was it, thanks @GugUser!
