Forum search results order

The current search results for the forum seems to display results by the latest relevant threads first. This never seems to help me. As a result I give up click, click, clicking into page after page and just start a new thread, when I know there was probably some legacy post somewhere that explained exactly what I needed to know. It’s an endless, wasteful, redundant cycle. I don’t know if anything can be done to vary the output somehow, but always being faced with the most recent threads seems to come up short.

Could we flip it around to the oldest threads first? That would at least make for some interesting reading. ;) Or randomize it, maybe?

Re: Forum search results order

Hi Destry
The in-built search function, gives you a number of choices, including Post time. Admittedly, most of the times the results are just fine for me, but on certain cases I do opt for the advanced options.

Re: Forum search results order

Haha. Tunnel vision! I’m so used to looking for the magnifying glass. Sad.

Thanks Colak!
