[SOLVED] PHP error message

Here are the error messages :

Warning: include(/srv/data/web/vhosts/2eck.eu/htdocs/textpattern/textpattern/lib/class.trace.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /srv/data/web/vhosts/2eck.eu/htdocs/textpattern/index.php on line 50

Warning: include(): Failed opening ‘/srv/data/web/vhosts/2eck.eu/htdocs/textpattern/textpattern/lib/class.trace.php’ for inclusion (include_path=’.:/usr/share/php:/srv/data/web/includes’) in /srv/data/web/vhosts/2eck.eu/htdocs/textpattern/index.php on line 50

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class ‘Trace’ not found in /srv/data/web/vhosts/2eck.eu/htdocs/textpattern/index.php:51 Stack trace: #0 {main} thrown in /srv/data/web/vhosts/2eck.eu/htdocs/textpattern/index.php on line 51

How could I fix my textpattern ? Thanks in advance !

Hi, those errors appeared after you updated txp ? Or suddenly ? Wich version of txp are you using ?

It appears that it is complaining about the class.trace.php which should be located in /textpattern/lib/

Are you sure you uploaded all the files? Do your diagnostics give any clues?

I was able to fix this problem by upgrading from 4.8.0 to 4.8.1 – thank you everybody !

I’m having the same issue. The file in question is in the right place. Permissions are 755 owned by the web server.

It worked briefly in the beginning then I went to sleep and woke up and it’s no longer working. The backend is, but not the public site.
