Thanks for the reminder: I almost forgot, oops. Y’all might have to put up with my cat joining in. She’s refusing to get off my lap today. I’m covered in fur now, so I hope nobody is allergic ;)

Downloaded the app, I presume I can just type in the room name ‘Textpattern’ and join that way? Calling a number from an app gives me the heebie jeebies!

Dunno about the app, sorry. I guess so. I simply clicked the link in colak’s message in Firefox and it just took me straight in via the browser.

The meeting is organised at 4pm UK time. That is in 10 minutes. A reminder to those who do not have the app, Chrome is the service’s supported browser.

I’m interested in your user feedback and comments on Jitsi – it’s on my list of things to figure out and install on our server(s), so we can do this self-hosted in future.
Would you use Jitsi if we had our own instance?

Thank you to all who took part in the conversation.
Bandwidth requirements seem to be variable from various parts of the world so some people didn’t have audio or video (or both!) and I lost connection a few times, but aside from that, jit.si works well for a free platform. Impressed. Much easier (and no doubt less brain-demanding on her part) than Hilary relaying chat transcripts to everyone!
I have some good take-away notes from the points raised, about the direction we take themes, image handling, form and page handling, newsletters and data import. Lots of good discussion around analytics too. Gotta process it all and distill it into something tangible now :)

I’ve got a to-do on my list to figure out self hosting of Jitsi from scratch so we’re not limited by numbers, I’ll take a look at that with fresh eyes tomorrow or tonight if curiosity is sufficiently piqued.
