Re: Corona virus

Please perform this on German television .so that this self-dramatized Corona bullshit finally stops

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3gH4zH4Cp9Q

we have had to experience that an overstrained and helpless government, including all opposition politicians, who admittedly were very badly advised by WHO, Drosten and Wiehler – one could have compared this with swine flu – can think of nothing better than to react in a purely restrictive way and lock away the healthy, also because certain politicians, such as Söder hope for a personal advantage for his candidacy for chancellor. I found particularly frightening the willingness of many citizens to approve of the hard but wrong style of leadership here in Germany of all places and even to support it by denunciation.

I am also worried as the 20-40 year old group started walking around today, without any protection, basically thinking that they are invincible.

Our 20-40 year olds are the same. Perhaps they are in most places… influenced by Hollywood, drugs, alcohol. A few I’ve spoken to or overheard think it’s a conspiracy of some sort, so they feel justified to flout the rules. It’s a golden opportunity really for somebody with power and influence to be truly open, transparent and tell the truth — I’m sure they’d earn the respect of many of this demographic.

Re: Corona virus

Here’s a link to a special report done for Reuters that goes into depth with interviews, quotes and stats about how actual care homes in North London have fared during the pandemic. It’s a 30-minute read but well worth it if you have the time. I’ve only heard some short personal details on radio that go beyond the statistics and rhetoric that makes up 99% of reporting, but this article gives a real inside view and fills in lots of the gaps for us who are asking, what is really going on?

I don’t use Farcebook, so don’t know if anyone links to in-depth articles, but I know on my local news sites, all such links are quickly deleted. Anything that questions the government response is deleted. The only questioning allowed is by journalists, who just ask tame questions. At the daily briefings, there are occasionally questions that ask why care homes are not getting the support they need, but all I ever hear from the government is that they have given full support and they have been a priority right from the start. They say it in a very slick and smooth way so I think most of the public just accept that the govt is doing a great job, me included – almost – because I give them the benefit of the doubt if I’m not entirely sure of the facts.

Re: Corona virus

If we are still thinking of a meeting, big blue button was highly recommended lately.

Re: Corona virus

This foreword by Robert F Kennedy Junior to Judy Mikovits’ book Plague of Corruption is a revealing insight and mini-history of courage and corruption in science. Robert F Kennedy Jr is the nephew of former US President John F Kennedy and is a successful activist and environmental law specialist. Judy Mikovits is a genius epidemiologist and virologist interviewed by Mercola here. It’s heavy going, highly technical stuff so perhaps just watch from about 1hr 12 minutes to get a taster which includes her take on how science knows already how to tackle coronavirus, but it needs a reorganisation of the medical system to remove corruption before this great science becomes properly publicly available.

Re: Corona virus

Somebody here was asking for some statistics regarding age, gender, etc. This is the closest I could find.

Re: Corona virus

Ok, for me at least this Oxford uni affiliated site is the best one showing C19 statistics so far. Furthermore, it is all released with public licences (MIT or CC).

in Vancouver we are now into phase 2. slow re-opening of some businesses. We have done exceptionally well here. So grateful we have sane adults in charge.

That is indeed good news. Cyprus is partially back to business tomorrow with most places opening for as long as they keep the 2 metres distancing regulation.

I believe that we are now in the most dangerous part of this charade as a lot of people will neglect all recommendations. Furthermore, our government is considering of opening for tourism next month, which freaks me out. The second wave of the Spanish flu, claimed more victims than the first one.

+1 Aplus. Not a time to lay aside caution. We are told this on a regular basis by our Heath Officials.
