Include sticky articles in feeds

Is there a way to include sticky articles in feeds?

Re: Include sticky articles in feeds

Hi Yiannis,

afaik, unless you create the feed manually, there is no “official” way. But if you don’t mind testing experimental features, in 4.7.3 the following mini-plugin should work:

# Name: abc_feed_filter v0.1
# Type: Public plugin
#
# Author:
# URL:
# Recommended load order: 4

# .....................................................................
# This is a plugin for Textpattern CMS - http://textpattern.com/
# To install: textpattern > admin > plugins
# Paste the following text into the 'Install plugin' box:

Re: Include sticky articles in feeds

Thanks so much Oleg. Admittedly, I have since re-thought the way I was calling the articles which was probably wrong. Should sticky articles be part of a blog, for example?

As such I have replaced the sticky call with article_custom and an old fashioned custom_filed search.

This of course also fixed the feed, and all seems to be working as expected now.
