leave it puristic as it is.

Please don´t add millions of function to textpattern. It is puristic and it is good as it is.
If you want to change something. delete the keywords on the right site on meta. This is unessesary since 2009 in SEO.
Add a switch to meta robots noindex and follow…
Please do not add a WYSIWYG editor or Ajax function to drag and drop something…. Textpattern is great because its not WordPress!

Re: leave it puristic as it is.

We try :-) Are you complaining about some explicit feature?

Re: leave it puristic as it is.

Those keywords are for search within Textpattern – not a meta tag.

If you want the admin interface to be as simple as possible try the plugin bot_write_tab_customize – it allows you to hide features you don’t use.

Re: leave it puristic as it is.

No complaining at all.
I´m just a bit frightened to see textpattern become WordPress. :-)

I am very confident it won’t become Wordpress. I know a lot of people are involved with Textpattern because it’s not Wordpress.

When you are frightened, take a deep breath and use this (safe for work).

Re: leave it puristic as it is.

We have experimented with optional WYSIWYG editor (which actually is a popular demand) in dev branch some time ago, but it felt wrong and has been abandoned.

Hm. Maybe I´m wrong, but I´ve tried it. This is a Meta Tag and all your listed Keywords of an article will be shown in the meta data of the articles webpage.
