Article was not saved due to an error [moved]
Hi Every one!
i can’t save and edit article, when ever i want to save or edit the article it blank me with this message:
“The article was not saved due to an error. Please try again.”
can anyone help me in this matter?

Hi ibadullah,
I moved this to a separate topic as there’s no indication it that it relates to the very old thread that is specific to an old version of Textpattern and an old version of glz_custom_fields.
There are several threads on saving problems on the forum. Can you tell us something about your Textpattern version / plugins and whether it affects all or just some of the articles? Also what might have changed since it last worked (an update, a new plugin, a new server?).

actually this happen yesterday that not saving and editing articles, and its effect for only saving and editing articles. i am posting the textpattern version here:
Textpattern version: 4.5.7 (r5900)
Active plugins: the_video-0.7, etc_query-1.2.9, etc_pagination-0.4.1m, arc_youtube-2.0.2m, arc_social_share-1.2.1, etc_url-0.3.3, rvm_substr-0.3, jnm_audio-0.3m, vdh_flickr-0.8.12, soo_if_frontpage-0.1.8, rah_replace-0.4.2, fh-article-image-selector-0.3, etc_date-0.3m, etc_tree-0.1.2, hak_tinymce-1.0.2.3m, wcz_utf8_url-0.1.4m, etc_search-0.9.5, etc_link_helper-0.1.1

ibadullah – has anything changed at your web hosting organisation? I have some observations for you to consider:
- Your Textpattern 4.5.7 is very old (nearly 6 years).
- Your web hosting organisation may have updated some software which may cause you this problem.
I recommend setting up a test server to see if you are able to upgrade the Textpattern software to a newer version, which has a more modern code base. You may also be able to see if there is a conflict with your web hosting and Textpattern.
If your Textpattern site was previously working OK, and now it is not, the first question should always be: what has changed? Have you made any other changes to the Textpattern site?
