4.7.2 Create new section gives an error
Actually, saving one that already exists throws the same error. Warning “strtolower() expects exactly 1 parameter, 2 given”. is what I get.
I’m only running it on my laptop (Ubuntu 18.04 variant with stock PHP 7.2 and Apache 2.4.29), so it’s nothing live and pressing. Apache logs don’t tell me anything. Anyone know what’s up? Something I have to turn on in PHP? I have no control over PHP when it goes live — I’m at the mercy of my web host.

The usual suspect, sorry. Enabling mbstrings PHP extension should solve it. On live servers it is generally enabled, so the error has not been detected until now, but we need a quick fix.

That was it. Was I numb, or was that answer just sitting out somewhere that I couldn’t quite get two search engines to find? I’ll put it in my “retrospective” blog post, as soon as I get migrated over from Wordpress. :)

Not at all, that’s entirely my fault. mbstrings extension is should not be mandatory to run txp. Already fixed in the next version, you can download txp_section.php file if needed.
