Can't save my code in textpattern cms
when i want to past and save the code in the page section in textpattern cms, it give me the following error:
404 Not Found
The requested resource was not found.
Please click here to go to home page
can anyone plz help me in this matter.Thanks

In bad weather I never leave home without wet_plugout, smd_where_used and adi_form_links

i have tried what you guide me, the problem that ( toblatwerdna ) had, same problem i have but i have only in page section, when i want to save the code its giving me the ( 404 Not Found
The requested resource was not found. ) Error, i tried those method that Mr.toblatwerdna guide by Mr. Wet but the error still exist.
plz help me in this matter.

What happens when you try to save just a simple word (no code, no URL), a word that is certainly not contained in any index for forbidden terms? If you can save that you’d need to talk to your hoster about loosening security a little. If you can not save, please post your diagnostics.

Hi,
Can you try to rename your htaccess to disable it and see if it works ?
If that not worked can you see if you have “mode security” enabled on your hosting, I have experienced a problem when working on backend, each time it s blocked i am forced to go to front end and click on a form there “I am not a robot”.

i have disabled the ModSecurity and works fine, but hosting provider said it’s highly recommended to enable ModSecurity for security reason.
Is there any other solution without disable the ModSecurity to save the code in page code.
Note: the main problem looks when i have <script ..> tag, it will redirect to 404 page not found and doesn’t save the codes.

I seem to remember having read here several times users reporting of their hosters fine-tuning mod_security rules, not simply switching the whole thing off. That’s why I said you’d need to talk to your hoster about loosening security a little. This answer on stackoverflow seems to prove me right. If someone has concrete knowledge on that matter, though, I’m gladly corrected.
