Textile Help Box
Hello TXP Genius’
Love the new version of TXP, however really disappointed to see the Textile help shortcuts box has disappeared. It was perfect for training clients initially on TXP and also they seemed to have used it often to remind themselves on how to format the text. They find the textile website rather overwhelming. Is it possible to have it back or at least an option in admin to show/hide it?

In the most recent version it’s moved and has changed slightly: click on the link arrow next to “use textile” at the top-right of the body or excerpt field:
and it takes you to an introduction to textile on txstyle.org.

Hi Jakob,
Yeah I know that, however the 10 or so examples in the original box were so useful, the textile website is a bit overwhelming to newbies. Am I lone voice on this?

Nope.
As a workaround you could set up adi_notes to display those hints. Can’t remember exactly, though, whether it can be convinced to display things on the Write panel only.
In bad weather I never leave home without wet_plugout, smd_where_used and adi_form_links
