Add another form type
With the introduction of Shortcodes, I believe that a new form type would be very handy as we could collate the snippets under that specific group instead of just pushing them all in the Miscellaneous group.

Wasn’t there some talk at one point to do away with the current form types taxonomy and allow the user to create custom groupings ?
Anyway, a form type for short code forms sounds a valuable addition.
Where is that emoji for a solar powered submarine when you need it ?

There was, but as article type forms load in the write tab (override form), the idea was scrubbed. but maybe allowing people to do custom groupings and at the same time protecting the article one from being either deleted or renamed would be good. Having said that, it might be slightly harder to explain to new users where to find the code they are looking for, especially now that themes are on the go….
