Hoping to get this out ASAP. We’ve done the GDPR compliance now – just an upgrade issue to fix as far as I know and we should be ready for a release candidate. Then a few days of testing that and final release!

If it makes anyone feel better, the Wordpress Devs are still finishing up GDPR compliance as well. And Satya Nadella said at Build yesterday that Microsoft is working around the clock to get ready.

If we can get 4.7.0 out before May 25th GDPR deadline, that would be great. I won’t be around after 15th for a couple of weeks as I’m getting married on 18th May – so the earlier the better. My 4.7.0 bits are all wrapped up anyway.
