kuo_wp_import: bring WordPress content to Textpattern
This plugin understands what’s inside .xml files that are generated by WordPress’ Export tool. It imports categories, posts and pages, but not attachments or other content.
Before using this it’s a good idea to take a backup of the database that Textpattern currently uses.

Only if you release this plugin 4 months ago!!! It would have saved me a lot of copy paste! It will be an excellent, needed, and vital tool for txp.
