Re: Admin Menu QuikPik Hack

Bingo! Absolutely no idea what was going on there? I went through the whole process again using a different FTP program and now its fine. Thanks for your patience and help wilshire.

Re: Admin Menu QuikPik Hack

Fantastic!! This plug in should become a feature. I would suggest putting breaks in place to break up the menu.

Content

Presentation

- Etc.

Great work

Re: Admin Menu QuikPik Hack

Ah, this is just superb!! I’d been thinking about doing this, but never had the time to implement it. This should be standard with TXP.

Re: Admin Menu QuikPik Hack

so here’s where I get into the grey area as far as dev goes. at what point is a feature like this assimilated into a build? There is obvious support for it, but I am never quite sure who here is actively involved in TXP development.

As far as standard dev process is concerned, would a feature like this come into play in future revisions? Or would something like this wait until a larger release? Is there a public(ish) approved new feature list?

Re: Admin Menu QuikPik Hack

Does this also work with g19?
I tried it and it didn’t seem to work
Here is my code:
<code>Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /home/midrasha/public_html/bessy/textpattern/lib/txplib_head.php on line 167<code>

Thanks

Re: Admin Menu QuikPik Hack

Thanks everyone for the feedback. Glad this has been useful.

I’ve just posted a new version of the hack. Sorry to those who just installed it today, but its just some minor formatting updates as Richard suggested. No surprise it looks much better in Firefox than IE. If you haven’t already, check the top of this thread for a new screenshot and download link or check the post on my site.

blumie – Doesn’t look like it will work on g19. Just another reason to uppgrade!

Re: Admin Menu QuikPik Hack

And it gets better!!! Great job!!! I’ll say it again.

This should be a feature of TXP.

Richard.
