Re: [phw_sandSpace], an admin theme for TXP CMS 4.7, 4.8 and 4.9-dev
I use Sandspace on a 4.7 site. I just upgraded to the latest version dev. I have also upgraded to the latest version of Sandspace. But in the list of themes admin, I do not see Sandspace, just the 3 official themes. However Sandspace is active because it was the active theme before upgrades.
On the other hand, when I upload images with the new Oleg system, I do not see (plus) the thumbnail preview of the uploaded images. Regular? I hesitate to test version Hive, for fear of not being able to return to Sandspace …

@ jpdupont
Did you upload the manifest.json
file (and the prefs.json
file) ? The first one is now required to make the theme available in the dropdown on the prefs panel.
Other than that, dunno, no clue atm.
PS – Also make sure you’ve uploaded / replaced the contents of the images
folder (but that won’t affect the issue(s) you mention).

Re: [phw_sandSpace], an admin theme for TXP CMS 4.7, 4.8 and 4.9-dev
Thank you Philippe, the two files were missing.
Everything is correct now.
However, is it normal to no longer see thumbnails of images / files uploaded, next to the download progress bar?

They should be there, at least it works here. Hmm, maybe some cached JS? The Core script that make the magic for this previews happen has been recently updated.
Force reload?

You need to include prefs.json
(?) file in your distribution, it was postponed to 4.8 in core.
Edit: sorry, haven’t seen it was there, will test.
Edit: yes, working for me.

Yeah, it is included. And it works fine here, both locally and on my test site on a live server.

Re: [phw_sandSpace], an admin theme for TXP CMS 4.7, 4.8 and 4.9-dev
Another problem with Sandspace: when I want to install a plugin, it’s impossible to place the cursor in the textarea. Same problem with Chrome or Firefox.
On Hive, no problem.
I did a refresh with cache dump, and now image thumbnails are present.
=
Other bug : the new file upload part : same problem as above, impossible to click, select files etc.
On the images multiupload part, all is correct.

You don’t have the latest version… But don’t worry. A new version will be up in a couple of hours.

As promised, an updated beta version with some obscure bug fixes, nicer radio/checkboxes for IE 11, and fixes for the changes to the messagepane

No improvement with this version … But now I also encounter this problem with Hive

Weird. So it doesn’t seem an admin-theme problem?
Just to be sure, force reload, or clear browser caches to make sure the up-to-date stylesheet / JS is in use.

Jean-Pol,
One other thing, do you have any custom.css
for Sandspace (in the folder phw_sandspace/custom
)? If so, please remove it.
In particular I’m thinking about that hack to position the multi-edit select
widget at the top of the list pages. That won’t work anymore and is a possible reason why you cannot click on elements near the top of list pages (it is a consequence of changes in the underlying markup on list pages).
