Testing needed - windows 8.x + high contrast themes
Does anyone around here have a machine with Windows 8/8.1 (or a VM of the same)? I’d appreciate if you could check this page with (a) high-contrast theme enabled and tell me if you see the icons – it is at the bottom the page.
On win10, it works with IE 11, but that is sort of emulation mode, I’m not sure if that matches 100% the real world behaviour of the browser.
PS – I think this keyboard shortcut works on Win 8 as well to temporarily switch to a High-contrast theme: press left Shift key + left Alt key + print-screen key (and the same shortcut to revert to normal mode).
Where is that emoji for a solar powered submarine when you need it ?

I’ve got Win 7 and in high-contrast mode those icons are useless, like this.

Yeah, I know. On windows 7 there is absolutely nothing that can be done. From Windows 8., MS has added a couple of Media Queries that can be used to improve the appearance of pages with high-contrast mode enabled. Thanks for testing though.
