ProseMirror 1.0 is out.

Yes, indeed. Particularly this switchable markdown <-> WYSIWYM editor. That could potentially be an excellent bridge between the markup geeks and wysiwyg users.

Looks great. Haven’t looked at how big it is or if all those components are required. But if someone can bundle up a small Textile WYSIWYM using this, who knows. If we could come to some licensing arrangement, it might be possible to pluginise this as an “official” community plugin.
