Re: MLP - The Multi-Lingual Publishing Pack

I was just wondering … what’s the toggle supposed to do?

It changes writing direction (LTR / RTL). I know about that. I will fix it in a week.

Re: MLP - The Multi-Lingual Publishing Pack

I can’t update pages and believe that the issue is somehow connected to the MLP (if I disable the plugin, I can update the pages just fine). I run TXP 4.5.7 and MLP 4.3.0.12.
Has anyone encountered this issue and found a solution?

I used MLP 4.5.4-01 on TPX 4.5.4
I think, MLP 4.3.0.12 is incompatible with TXP 4.5.7

Thanks a lot for your reply! I think your right.
Now this is a really dumb question; but is it difficult to update the MLP plugin? I searched for directions, and found this: https://plus.google.com/+JohnAllderStephens/posts/SYRj4sQuKmE

Since it is an old site, that need a more fundamental redesign shortly, I’m not sure it’s worth the effort …

Re: MLP - The Multi-Lingual Publishing Pack

Did anyone yet manage to fix the issue that under Content-> MLP the “show per page”-function of the articles is not working anymore? Also it would be nice if in Articles (Renditions) I could switch over to the Clone of an article. The toggle function is also not working here like it was in older textpattern versions. Any hints on how to solve that would be appreciated. I would try to do it and report my experience.

Hallo demoncleaner,

You mean the function to list either 15|25|50|100 articles? Yep, that’s broken … the pagination itself does work though. I was considering to hide the former via CSS, but my clients have so far not complained …

Viel Glück,

Re: MLP - The Multi-Lingual Publishing Pack

Yes sorry. I was unclear here and edited my previous post. I was just talking about the “show per page” 15|25|50|100.

I find that very helpful to have it on 100 and not have to deal with multiple pages. It is the first thing I do on every textpattern installation. Beeing on 100 gives a so much better overview and a browser search can search through all articles as well. Most sites I do have below 100 articles.

So on a MLP driven site it would be cool to either have this “show per page” working in the MLP or have the toggle between article languages working on article´s view. Both would help to easily switch between the same article in different languages.

With both functions not working MLP feels not as good as it used to be on older textpattern versions. I wonder why it stopped working…

Re: MLP - The Multi-Lingual Publishing Pack

@demoncleaner: pagination should be fixed, and so should the article switcher. Can you please ping spiridon (repo is here) and ask if it’s something he can fix in his fork? Thanks.

Sorry, was not having my eye on that topic in the last days. Thanks Stev and spiridon for taking on the case. Would be really cool to have that fixed.
