I’m not allowed for now – due to current advertisers banking on our (.com) domain’s long history and Alexa ranking. But yes, I’d like to move it one day. It’d be simple to do that if/when the need arises.

Sweet work Phil, a really nice upgrade. I really appreciate that it doesn’t look like every other new web site in 2017.
The blog post on how you did it is a great reference tool for TXP 4.7 use.

What worries me is what we will lose if the domain is not renewed. If we redirect the .com domain with htaccess, it will still, in some sense, be reachable.

On the homepage, the download button does just that, while the “get started” link brings up a lot of detail about server requirements etc etc. Might it be a good idea to retain this functionality with the homepage? Or have a link to further info alongside the download button?
