meta tags for yandex
I thought that this might be of interest. I especially like the <!--noindex-->
tag.

Maybe for pages where say, a hotel price or other variable is included?
What I like about it is that the webmaster chooses what part of the webpage is indexed.

Note that Googlebot and most other major search engine spiders don’t recognise that technique, so unless you only care about what is indexed on Yandex it’s fairly redundant.

Indeed. I am not actually using that tag but I thought that it could have its uses if it was acceptable by the other search engines. Re Yandex, we get our fair numbers of visitors from there but I would not at the moment provide custom content for it.
