"spam" refferers under visitor logs

is it possible some how to stop this kind of “spamming” at all?

you can add

Order Deny,Allow
Deny from xx.xxx.xxx.xxx

in your htaccess file but you could also install zem_redirect which sorts a lot of this attacks by redirecting them to the proper url

Alternatively check out our htaccess file on github, especially the line starting with #RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} ADSARobot|ah-ha|almaden|… Add keywords which suit you but be careful not to break the site. ie the word admin is used in the back end.
