Textpattern new installation 4.6.2
Hi,
today I have to make a new website for my group. Uploading the content on the hosting was good.
Have a MySQL-Database too, for 5.6.19.. The new domain has set to the new file with the uploaded new txp 4.6.2.
But I can’t start the setup from textpattern.
I get this:

what content are your referring to?
Have you tried a simple Instal of a brand new out of the box Textpattern generic site first?
Is yourr MySQL DB a new empty db?

the content – sorry, I was not accurate in my description.
I mean the one downloaded txp-install-download 4.6.2, which I have uploaded it on my webhosting. There in the file is nothings other as the downloaded txp-files.
My english is not very good. What do you mean with “txp generic site”? Do you mean this: http://textpattern.com/download:“http://textpattern.com/download” ?
After upload the all files from the downloaded TXP 4.6.2 I have start on my domain with
domain.de/textpattern/setup .
But I get this three error-lines. I can’t start the setup.
The MySQL is not empty, there is another (old) txp-installation. But how can get the new not-installed textpattern the content from the database? This has not a connection to that, because this is to make in the setup, which I can’t enter it. So I think, the error is not in the MySQL-Database.
By the way: It should have not a problem with other content in the database, because I can choose a table-prefix for the new website.

I see, this have a save preference. Maybe this is the problem?
I can go to a higher php-Version, should i do it?

Yes, you need 5.3 at least, and the higher the better.
Edit: though, php7 could break some plugins. Try 5.4, to see.

Okay. I can choose this php-versions:
5.4 stable
5.5 stable
5.6 stable
7.70 stable

php should be safe to try. Start with 7.0.6, then downgrade to some stable version if something does not work.

With the php-Version 5.4 and 5.5. (both as stable), I get the same error. :(
with 5.6 and 7 too. :(

hmmm, is that the problem?
PHP.INI für Version: Keine PHP.INI-Datei angelegt
no php.ini-file
my other txp-websites are all works without the php.ini-file.

It means you are still on 5.2 for me, or the request is cached. Try hard-reload (ctrl-F5 or something). If it does not help, wait a little, maybe the server needs some time to restart php.

I have choosing the php-version 5.5 stable and wait for a few minuts. Now starts the txp-setup! :-)
