This makes for interesting reading. I realise Textpattern isn’t on the same scale as Python, but I found it fascinating reading — and uncomfortable in parts.

Interesting, thanks for sharing. I can certainly relate to some of that, not necessarily just Txp: I’ve been on the other side of the fence making suggestions for improvement to other OSS projects too.

Thankfully, most people here in the Textpattern community are pretty darn civil (heck, nobody can say that patience isn’t a virtue here!), and that above all else is what keeps me here.
