Re: oui_player (formerly oui_video) - Easily embed customized players
I just published oui_player-v1.1.0-beta.
Major changes include tags and attributes names changes, extendable coding and support for additional providers; it also requires Txp 4.6.

N
This looks fantastic for a site I am currently working on. Thanks for the hard work.
But . . .
I’ve just attempted to install 1.1.0-beta 7bd771e (the latest version on Git Hub) and have the following message:
Parse error
: syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in
/home/content/d/e/t/detail/html/cylvim/textpattern/lib/txplib_misc.php(1368) : eval()'d code
on line
750
That doesn’t look right!
I’m using Txp 4.6.0.
Guess I’ll try 0.1.0 165a231
Thought I should mention this.
Graeme

You’re welcome!
But…
Thanks for the report; I cannot reproduce but my guess is that you are running PHP 5.3 or earlier. I should mentioned that the plugin requires 5.4+ in its current version, sorry for that! Trivial changes could fix this issue in a next beta to make it work for earlier versions of PHP; keep in touch.

oui_player users, feel free to show where and how you’re using the plugin.
Post your URL here if you’re ok to see it shared or just send it to me by email.
Thanks!

Hi,
1.3.0-beta is ready to be tried with its code improvements and its new supports for Bandcamp provider and HTML audio/video players (no fallback or multiple sources support width HTML players for now).
Edit: if you’re updating, do not forget to disable and re-enable the plugin to set new providers.

Bonjour Nicolas
Thanks for the player.
We can’t use it on an https site as Google now requires an origin on the URL

Thanks for the report Craig, could you try the last beta release (don’t forget to disable and re-enable after an update)?
origin is added but I didn’t test it on an https domain and I’m not sure if it also requires enablejsapi to work.

Hey Nicolas, thanks for getting back so quickly.
Gave it a try and it appears it does require enablejsapi
Cheers,
