I didn’t know that a 404 error happens, do you want ms to revert in 4.6.1? We can maybe look at alternatives in 4.7?

I guess that the 404 happens because of txp’s htaccess

And that’s good, because without that rule, TXP would handle the request for the favicon, which is inefficient. If there’s no favicon, you should get a 404. My request for a default favicon was just to get free TXP advertising, nothing more.

I’ve reverted the favicon removal for now. If a customisable location can be coded in a part of 4.7 development then that’s fine.
