I’m going to download Jaws, and see for myself how it goes when hacking on Pages and Forms.

And I’d also be interested in who is using a screen reader.

I’m not stripping out any of the accessibility code or majorly changIng the layout again, but feel free to test if you wish (along with keyboard navigation too).

Let’s put it into perspective here, the only real issue with supporting accessibility is that it limits where the save button goes (and I’m considering moving that anyway). So I don’t know what the gripe is.

That’s not exactly an accessibility thing (although it has benefits). I just prefer SVG to icon fonts.

Ok, finally we’re getting somewhere.

You like accessing icons using specific coordinates referenced in a massive table, whereas

I like the ease and flexibility of being able to:

scale
color
style with css
identify
reference
share intuitive usage rules with other
edit

…icons using typefaces.

accessibility has little to do with it.

But we’re getting wildly off-topic which is “hands up those who use screen readers and dyslexia mitigation apps”

2. Sort of – I use OpenDyslexic when I’m working late on code, I find it easier to read with tired eyes.
