Textpattern UK user group meet up: autumn 2016

(Link to 2015 meetup here: forum.textpattern.com/viewtopic.php?id=45641 for reference)

What: a Real Life gathering of Textpattern CMS users and developers. Hurrah!

Where: Aldershot/Farnham, Hampshire, UK
Where exactly: tbc
When: Saturday, November 5th 2016
Agenda: chat, beverages, food, Textpattern hacking, other stuff etc.

Who: provisional ‘yes’, so far–

  • Stef ‘Bloke’ Dawson
  • Phil ‘philwareham’ Wareham
  • Pete ‘gaekwad’ Cooper

Hi, UK Textpatterners. Who’s interested in a Textpattern real life meet up this autumn?

Last year’s session was really useful and yielded many things, including a roadmap.

Shall we do it again this year?

Raises digital paw. Hell yeah!

And yes, I know we planned a beta drop in February(ish) at the last meet but, ahem, well we did have two of the devs go off with random illnesses for a few months (among other things), which was an unforeseen setback. Hopefully we’re back on course now and will do some more frequent interim code drops as we add stuff to our favourite CMS, especially as Oleg and Ruud have been added to the mix, along with all the other fab contributors via pull requests.

Anyway, tl;dr, I’m up for it. Come on everyone, get on the Textpattern train!

I would be up for a meet up if not too far from Surrey (I have a baby boy now so leisure time is limited).

I don’t hold you responsible, I blame your environment… (was it Crack Village, or Meth Haven?)

All joking aside, that is a beautiful part of the world. I spent some time in Fowey and Tintagel when I was 15… magical.
