Re: my Traveller site, with some updates mentioned

I have removed the old and added in a new site navigation menu that should work much better than the previous one.

Now up to 518 planet maps and I have added the Alago race, on the Tel-Ha confederation page as the main inhabitants.

Re: my Traveller site, with some updates mentioned

780 planet maps, and a partially done star cluster which will have about 618 planets when done. About 520 planets on the rest of the site.

Re: my Traveller site, with some updates mentioned

If I add index.php to the links here, my sites can be seen again. I’ll correct the navigation menus on my sites.

Over a thousand planet maps now, I’ve started working on planet surveys for each planet.

Re: my Traveller site, with some updates mentioned

Hi Jim,

Interesting role playing game.

My suggestion is to put a year on your articles, or else it’s hard to know the age of the site.

Also, place the site as an external link on Wikipedia, the editors may let it stay.

Re: my Traveller site, with some updates mentioned

My What’s New ? article, viewable from the front of the site, has a year on it.

My site is linked to from the Official Traveller site, so it gets people viewing from there. I’m doing this as a hobby, so if I get around 100 people visting per month, thats fine with me.

How do I get the posting date to show the year ?

That would be in your article form, the txp:posted tag.

Ah, it was in my Admin -> Preferences that the change needed to be made as the bit you posted was already set to show year, month, and day.

Ok, didn’t know if you had changed the default article form.

Re: my Traveller site, with some updates mentioned

I try not to modify the original stuff, except for the css style. That way I can get different background colors depending on subject.

Re: my Traveller site, with some updates mentioned

Now 1205 planet maps. I am in the process of linking all of my game map sites together in the navigation menus. I don’t think I’ll be posting updates to my sites here any longer. Probably too boring to others.

I really like textpatten ! Far fewer headaches than any other blog/cms I have tried.
