Re: Open the submenu on hover, not on click

Do not change my Hive theme menu functionality at all. The menu has been designed to be accessible ARIA and keyboard navigable, work on mobile, work on desktop and be HTML lean. I will not be happy if anyone breaks that as it took many weeks of research and examples to get to this point.

If someone wants to design their own separate admin theme which they feel does all that better, then be my guest. However if it doesn’t fulfil all the above including ARIA feedback states then don’t bother.

PS. I’ve just survived a life-threatening illness hence my disappearance for a few weeks. On the mend now and hope to leave hospital soon.

Thanks all, I’ll be 100% well soon enough God willing. In the meantime please don’t touch my Hive navigation menu system! :)
