is there a newer version of a plugin?

It should have been released by now but I’m a slacker, sorry.

Re: zem_contact_reborn 4.0.3.20

Sorry I have to ask, I’m a total fool in finding things on Github: That’s a PHP file there with en + fr embedded. Is there an installable file for users with no ied_plugin_composer knowledge?

Not yet. But drop me a line and I’ll stick you one in the post.

Ah, OK, I didn’t ask for me. Thanks, though.

@bloke

Why don’t you just create a beta release on GitHub? You can then attached a zip of the compiled plugin to the tag release.

Probably should. Will try and do that when I get a chance.

@giz, if you create a new user in TXP, do you receive the welcome email?

Yes, when I use my own email address.

I also tested using a ‘native’ client email address, but will have to wait until Monday morning to see if it worked. In the past we’ve always had problems using client@clientsdomain.com.

Finally. Please direct any questions about the new version there. And sorry for polluting this thread for so long while I got my act in gear.

Re: zem_contact_reborn 4.0.3.20

Thanks Stef: great stuff. I appreciate the extensive help text :)

@all:

I upgraded my form to the new plugin and did some more testing.
  1. New user emails get received, whether sent to external or domain-native email addresses.
  2. I still get the Sorry, unable to send email. failure message whether I have the ‘SMTP envelope sender address’ field filled with a domain-native email address or left empty.
  3. I tried disabling fields to see where the problem lay, and discovered that the form works every time, as long as I exclude the <txp:zem_contact_email /> field.

I’m stuck :(

What should I try next? Thanks all…

@giz, the 4.5.0.0 version of the plugin has a separate forum thread

Re: zem_contact_reborn 4.0.3.20

Is there a way to limit the number of words (if not, characters) in specific text fields?

Yiannis, there is: the max attribute (unless it was renamed in this new version).
