Paid work to convert old site into holding page

Hi, I have a site built in 2009 with textpattern.

I can’t get in touch with the original designer. As I love the graphic design aspects I’d rather not abandon it, so I want to convert it into an extremely basic site, akin to a holding page, which would basically involve taking lots of elements out and adding nothing. I imagine that it would be a relatively straightforward brief.
