URL-only titles could be more friendly...

Hi folks ;)

What do you think about this feature idea?

Ability to copy/paste plain text into the “Url Title” field and convert it automatically into proper slug URL when Article is saved. So, changes for URL titles could be much easier for simple copy writers.

i.e. Change like that into the “URL Title”: My Long Title is converted into this: my-long-title.

Looks difficult. How would Textpattern discern between deliberately entered manual URL titles and URL titles which are meant to be sluggified?

Looks like a candidate for a plugin.

And because of the »Cool URI don’t change« paradigma not everyone will use it as default feature.
